OCTOBER 25 - DESIGN FOR ACTION WORKSHOP (Optional Add-On)
From the FitBit to FinTech, from school cafeterias to domestic policy, it’s clear that Behavioral Economics — and behavioral science more broadly — has the potential to help users take action to improve their lives. But the field can often seem complex and overwhelming, creating friction for those seeking to integrate BE into their lives and work.
Join us for a half-day, interactive workshop the day before our conference, designed to give participants:
- Clear understanding of Behavioral Economics and the broader behavioral landscape
- Grounding in key Behavioral Economics principles that drive human behavior
- Practical case studies across industries to highlight how others are integrating Behavioral Economics to help people take action
- Toolkit to begin applying these principles right away!
This workshop is perfect for those who are interested in Behavioral Economics and seeking concrete ways to integrate BE into their day-to-day work, be it product management, user experience, communications, or something else. And its the perfect warm-up for the 3rd Annual Design for Action Conference!
october 26 - design for action conference
Every year, Action Design Network brings together a group of the top behavioral researchers and practitioners to discuss their work and how you can use it in your own endeavors. This fall, join hundreds of Action Designers to learn about cutting edge behavioral science work and how you can be a part of it. We will announce the lineup shortly, but speakers come from fields as diverse as energy, healthcare, finance and more. These speakers discuss and teach you how to apply behavioral economics and psychology to policies and products to increase their adoption, usage, and real-life impact.
A few notes on the tickets:
- Space is limited, so we encourage you to register early to make sure you get a space.
- This is especially true of the workshop!
- Make sure you take advantage of First Mover, Bundle, and Early Bird discounts.
Drawn by its beauty and the fabulous events, hundreds of thousands of visitors come to the Chicago Cultural Center every year, making it one of the most visited attractions in Chicago. Completed in 1897 as Chicago’s first central public library, the building was designed to impress and to prove that Chicago had grown into a sophisticated metropolis. The country’s top architects and craftsmen used the most sumptuous materials, such as rare imported marbles, polished brass, fine hardwoods, and mosaics of Favrile glass, mother-of-pearl and colored stone, to create an architectural showplace.
