Volunteers are the life-blood of Action Design. We value our volunteers because without you we wouldn't even exist! Below you'll find descriptions of the roles we are trying to fill in your city and with our national organization. If you see something you like, use the form below to let us know. This person will take the lead on outreach to potential speakers and coordinating with the rest of the leadership team to make sure events are lined up with enough lead time to get the word out to Action Designers. They will work closely with the City Organizer and the Sponsorship Lead.
This person will take the lead on building partnerships with organizations to support Action Design activities. Currently we rely on sponsors to cover the cost of food and beverage, and to host our events so that we can keep them free for our members. We know we're just scratching the surface, though, and are open to many other possibilities! Ideally this person will have a PR/Marketing background, perhaps with non-profit experience.
This person will take the lead on event production, coordinating all the elements, including food and beverage, AV, set-up, greeters, etc. to make sure our members have a terrific experience every month. Of course, we all chip in to help; this person is the ringleader! Ideally this person will have an event planning background and a passion for the little things that make all the difference.
This person will help coordinate the communications within the group as well as working with the national organization to get the word out about new initiatives and events. Ideally this person will have a background in comms, social media, and a way with words!
